There is deliberately no contact form here. A form would mean a server receiving what you type, and the whole point of this site is that nothing you enter is transmitted.

Reporting a result that looks wrong

This is the most useful message you can send, and the one that gets answered first. Please include:

  • the numbers you entered — current grade, target or expected score, and weight;
  • which calculator and which mode you were using;
  • what you expected, and where that expectation came from;
  • your grading scale, if you changed it from the default.

Please do not include your name, your instructor’s name or your institution. The numbers are all that is needed to reproduce a problem, and we would rather not hold anything else.

Suggesting a grading scale

Scales vary widely and we would rather ship the ones people actually use than guess. If your institution publishes boundaries that differ from the presets, send them along with a link to where they are published, and we will consider adding the pattern as an option. In the meantime you can edit the boundaries yourself in any calculator’s advanced options, and your version is remembered on your device.

Requesting a calculator

A semester grade calculator and a GPA calculator are the next two planned. Both are listed as in development rather than published, because a thin page that half-answers a question is worse than no page at all. If there is a different calculation you keep doing by hand, tell us what it is.

Everything else

Questions about privacy are answered in full on the privacy policy, and how the site is built and checked is covered on the about page. If neither covers it, the address above works.
